Part of my shyness came from my early exploration into Hinduism. I lived in an ashram for three years before college. My faith was intense, bordering on fanaticism. This flame fueled my studies and devotion, yet isolated me from mainstream society in my uncompromising quest for purity and truth. Eventually, my commitment waned, and I felt a bit embarrassed by the zeal I had once felt. I wanted to be part of this world rather than hold myself apart.

I went on to study cultural anthropology, worked as an admin and office manager, had a son, and gradually shifted my career into human development. This has included a graduate degree in organization development and a coaching credential through the ICF (PCC level). I found ways to align my purpose with my career, focusing on professional development for staff, leaders, and teams. And I continued on my spiritual quest, guided by various spritiual teachers and healers, my values, and a grounded approach to the mystical.

After years of focusing on human and spiritual development, I am increasingly interested in honoring nature and animals. Our bodies respond to the natural world, and many of our imbalances can be corrected by reestablishing our connection with nature. My energy work is in service to this mission. By harmonizing with our environment, we reawaken our power, our joy, and our connection to all that is.
